This impressive garden transformation in Leeds has completely reimagined a sloping, uneven outdoor space into a stunning multi-level garden that’s both practical and visually striking. The design makes the most of the natural slope, creating defined zones for different uses while maintaining a sense of openness and flow.
The garden features carefully constructed timber sleeper retaining walls that provide stability and a warm, natural contrast to the surrounding stonework. A spacious sandstone patio offers a durable and elegant area for outdoor furniture and social gatherings, seamlessly connecting the home to the rest of the garden.
A series of levelled lawn areas adds depth and structure, creating versatile spaces for play, relaxation, or planting. Soil borders were left ready for the clients to plant with their own selection of shrubs and flowers – allowing them to personalise the space and bring seasonal colour to the design. The result is a clean, functional, and modern outdoor space that makes full use of the garden’s natural shape while leaving room for the clients’ own creative touch.
