Garden Landscaping Project 140
This started as a plain, unusable new build garden, with a small and impractical seating area. We ‘zoned’ off the patio area by surrounding it with raised beds for an enclosed feel, helping it to feel more like another room when stepping out from the bi-fold doors. We created sight lines onto the new lawn area by leaving intentional gaps between the raised beds. We levelled the remainder of the garden onto different tiers and staggered the height of the planters for more interest, which then accommodated the planting of various shrubs and trees; once these are mature they will increase privacy in the garden. Lastly we levelled to produce a large, level, central lawn with blocks around the perimeter to ensure easy lawn maintenance and create an overall smart modern finish to complement the house interior.
