Garden Landscaping Project 153
The brief for this project was to level a large new build garden, which was sloping from the house towards the back boundary and was not a comfortable space to enjoy for this reason. We smoothed out the garden levels, and to maintain the height of the rear boundary fence we introduced a curving, railway sleeper retaining wall. This created a raised feature planter across the rear of the property, thus providing ample planting space for screening trees to allow privacy within the new garden, and on the new lower main patio area. We created a large lower seating area on a curving profile which then lead into a pathway running across the remainder of the back of the house, up the side of the garage, and to a newly paved area at the rear of the garage to provide easy access to the newly created play area. The garden was neatly completed with high quality turf, bordered by block edgings for an easy maintenance finish.
